Head of Sales

Auxilion is looking for an experienced Head of Sales to manage the Auxilion commercial sales team and deliver quarterly and annual performance targets.

Role Overview

The Head of Sales, reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, is primarily responsible for managing the Auxilion commercial sales team and delivering in-line with quarterly and annual performance targets. You will also be a member of a number of cross-functional virtual teams and as such will represent Auxilion Sales in the areas of marketing, delivery and shared services.

The Head of Sales will have a proven track record of successful sales team management, an understanding of IT services business, and be passionate about customer satisfaction.

The Auxilion Sales Team are at the forefront of driving Auxilion’s growth in the Irish market. They are responsible for identifying, qualifying and ultimately winning new services business for Auxilion across the Irish Public and Private sector.

Key Responsibilities

What you get to do in this role:

  • Be the primary Account Director on some of Auxilion’s most important client accounts
  • Manage a team (3) of experienced IT services sales professionals
  • Engage with the wider Auxilion management team to provide input into the strategic direction of the organisation
  • Work closely with our Marketing function to define suitable campaigns and events
  • Manage our relationship with our key partner, Microsoft
  • Set, Measure and Deliver on Gross Margin targets
  • Work closely with our Head of Delivery to ensure pipeline coverage for all service lines
  • Report on all metrics and KPIs to Group Sales Director

 

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • At least five years’ experience in sales management
  • At least ten years’ experience in sales, preferably in IT or a related field
  • Have experience of identifying, qualifying and winning large and complex IT services contracts
  • Experience working in a consultative sales role.
  • Very strong communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
  • Experience of managing multiple, complex customer engagements.
