IT Support Analyst

North Dock, Dublin 1/On-site/Walk in9 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Auxilion, part of I.T. Alliance Group, is looking for an IT Support Analyst. As part of Auxilion you will work directly on a client site working closely with the in-house team to provide the best possible technical service and customer experience that the client requires.

Key Accountabilities: 


  • Configures and provisions IT equipment to end users
  • Responds to requests for services within agreed timescales
  • Keeps users updated on progress
  • Projects a professional image to end users by displaying a positive and helpful attitude as well as excellent customer service skills
  • Ensures all new, replaced, or unfixable assets are appropriately tagged and managed.
  • Follows defined procedures to oversee the disposal of unfixable or obsolete equipment. This may include having to work with external suppliers
  • Maintains ownership for an on-site issue until it is resolved
  • Maintains and installs of software components and configures devices in accordance with documented procedures
  • Provides basic training and familiarisation to users to ensure that they are familiar with the technical equipment or functionality they have been provided with
  • Works with an ITIL compliant service tool
  • Basic administration experience of Active Directory
  • Provides support to the IT Service Desk as required:
  • Answers phone calls from customers within CBI requiring IT support
  • Logs the calls on the IT Service Desk system
  • Aims to resolve the incidents at first point of contact

Relevant Skills and Experience:

  • Wide knowledge of IT at basic levels including hardware, software, networks and devices
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively often dealing with a number of tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve service levels
  • Be adaptable to change and have high levels of motivation
  • A willingness for continuous learning
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure so as to meet user service expectations
  • Installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft products Windows 10, Office, Exchange.
  • Understanding of concepts such as WAN, LAN, Intranet versus Internet



  • ITIL Foundation, Win10 Support and Microsoft Teams support.
  • Certificate or diploma level IT related qualification
