    Operations Manager

As Operations Manager of Auxilion Consulting you will be a part of a team of highly skilled and experienced consultants who provide valuable insights and recommendations to our clients in the areas of digital strategy, governance, operations, and technology. You will be responsible for coordination, oversight, direction and supporting a team of consultants, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients.

    Role Overview

    The ideal candidate for this position will be a manager with at least 10 years of management experience. He or she will ideally also have a proven track record in business development and proposal writing. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent commercial, communication and presentation skills, as well being very structured and having a great attention to detail.

    As Operations Manager, you will be a senior figure in the Auxilion organisation, reporting to the Consulting Director. You will have the opportunity to work with global organisations in diverse industries alongside a multi-disciplined team of high calibre business and technical consultants to bring the best of Auxilion to our clients.

    What you get to do in this role:

     

    As head of the Operations Manager of Auxilion Consulting you will be responsible for

    • Works closely with Consulting Director and Practice Leads to successfully execute on Consulting Strategy / Plans
    • Promote collaboration across consulting and with other divisions
    • Deals with the logistics of fulfilling client agreements promptly, client expectations are met – securing customer satisfaction
    • Ensuring internal processes followed to onboard new clients / engagements.
    • Provide governance, oversight & quality assurance
    • Oversight and monitoring of Consulting Process Compliance
    • Provide implementation oversight as engagement manager where required
    • Resource allocation and prioritisation
    • Supporting presales assignments across team w/ Head of Presales
    • Working with Consulting director on talent acquisition (perms/associates) as per budget plan/ customer requirements
    • Measure and report on the effectiveness of consulting services
    • Ensures efficient utilization of internal and external resources
    • Financial reporting and analysis, forecasting and billing etc
    • Maintain an accurate overview /status of the progress of client engagements
    • Support decisions at IA / BEP for Consulting Opportunities – delegate for Consulting Director
    • Oversight and monitoring of Consulting Process Compliance

     

    To be successful in this role, we need someone who:

    • Can effectively build and leverage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Is well structured and organised
    • Is action oriented, positive can-do approach and attitude.
    • Ability to influence change effectively and getting the data to make decisions quickly
    • Communicates effectively
    • Has experience in developing/ coordinating client proposals
    • Is commercial strong and ideally has business development experience.
    • Has excellent problem-solving ability. Great attention to detail.
    • Has the ability to work on multiple initiatives in parallel and prioritise appropriately.

    Experience: 

    • 10+ years in a management position
    • Experience leading and managing projects
    • Financial Reporting and budget management experience
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
    • Project Management accreditation (PMP, PFMP) or advanced degree preferred
