Our Consulting Practice consists of a team of seasoned professionals, all with many years’ experience in their competency area, and an ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Clients across a wide spectrum of industries. All our consultants are either drawn from our delivery teams having proven themselves in Client situations or are experienced consulting professionals recruited from the market. We do not ‘train’ junior consultants on Client based assignments. Each consultant must be fully capable of delivering as required before being assigned to Client work. We operate a mature Project Management Practice that has been a key pillar in the company for over 20 years, retaining the highest volume of project management resources of any indigenous Irish company. Auxilion services are based on a combination of established best practice frameworks covering;

IT Service Management; Compliance / Controls; Project Management and Process Maturity. The underpinning cornerstone of our solutions are primarily focused on Service Management’s IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) and the Project Management Institutes (PMI) Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®).

This position is within our Sales Team. We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant who will manage some existing customers (past and present) and develop new customers.

Working with clients who typically have between 250 and 5000 users you will develop and cultivate relevant contacts from C- level through to technical influencers and drive revenue for the various solutions on offer from Auxilion. The following activities are important for success in the role :

  • Building strong relationship with customer at all levels.
  • Researching the market and related (and competitive) products.
  • Work closely with technical Pre Sales and Architect resources to understand customer requirements and position relevant solutions
  • Work closely with bid management team to deliver suitable proposals
  • Presenting the service offerings in a structured professional way face to face.
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
  • Calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential new markets.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Gathering market and customer information;
  • Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions and events.
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
  • Advising on forthcoming new service and product developments and discussing special promotions.
  • Liaising with the delivery organisation to ensure everything running smoothly .
  • Recording and reporting sales information on the company CRM system .
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with proposals and quotations.
  • Feeding future buying trends back to the business
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • Attending weekly / monthly and quarterly sales meeting to report your progress and wins

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Min of 5+ years’ experience in a solutions sales role within the ICT Sector
  • Experience of selling into larger customers (min 250 – 1000 users) and comfortable talking to all levels within the customer from C Suite through Senior and Mid Level management and technical staff (including those outside the IT Function)
  • Experience responding to complex RFPs (ideally private and public sector)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very competent presenting formally and informally to customers
  • Strong ability to influence
  • Adept with CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Self Starter with strong organisational skills
  • Great ability to network within an organisation

The role will be targeted : 1. Successful delivery of sales target – Gross Margin Orders – and helping to grow the business year on year 2. Customer Satisfaction 3. Building strong relationships with internal teams 4. Information recording on CRM system and strong reporting capability
