You will have minimum of 1 year in a Deskside role. Minimum 1-year previous experience in a Technical Support role. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent Customer Service skills. **Driving license and own mode of transport essential.**

Within this Deskside Engineer role, you will be work across multiple client sites in Ireland providing cover for team members while on leave as well as acting as an additional resource when projects dictate. You will gain great exposure to client sites and multiple technologies and environments. The role is heavily customer focused and main responsibilities would involve on the spot troubleshooting.

What will you be doing:

Incident Resolution – managing incidents following the clients process & SLA’s.
Service Now or other ITSM systems– Manage and update ticket queues.
Asset Tracking - responsibility for asset tracking and reporting of all existing and new ICT equipment.
Ensuring handover and updates of tasks to relevant persons and Team members
Reproducing, diagnosing, and analysing problems reported by end-users, in turn formulating solutions to resolve the issue at hand.
Providing training and advice to users, both in response to identified difficulties and to share tips for optimal computer operation.

What skills will you have:

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent Customer Service skills
MS Active Directory
Experience in IT related services with understanding of networks and servers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with ITSM ticketing tools, ITIL process, Asset Management and Escalation Management.
