We are looking to recruit high performing leader with a proven track record in technology consulting. This leadership role is responsible for practice delivery, client satisfaction and has overall responsibility for the P&L. You will be a key member of the Consulting practice leadership team.
You and your team will directly manage solution development including the preparation of evaluation ready commercial proposals. You will forecast and track the availability of your consultants to deliver client engagements throughout the project life cycle. The role will also involve ownership of regular periodic reporting on commercial and delivery performance always ensuring a high standard of client satisfaction.
- Responsible for client satisfaction on all Modern Workplace application development engagements acting as a trusted advisor and building strong relationships.
- Line management of the Modern Workplace App development practice team
- Determining and managing the future direction of the practice
- Championing our AMW experience, solutions, and capability both internally and externally
- Working with our sales teams to develop new Modern Workplace opportunities and build customer relationships within existing and new customer accounts.
- Collaborating with your subject matter peers in Microsoft and other Partner organisations on new opportunities/ technologies.
- Using customer insights and industry trends to develop new solutions and services.
- Assessing the current state of customers’ environments, developing strategies and roadmaps for improvement
- Providing complex technical advice, recommendations, and consultancy on M365 technologies and bespoke solutions.
- Leading discovery & brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions to solve business challenges.
- Peer reviewing technical solutions and documentation.
- Becoming a “trusted expert advisor” to our customers maintaining detailed industry knowledge.
- Providing mentoring and coaching for Modern Workplace team members.
- Collaborating with your peers in Consulting, Sales, Delivery, and teams to deliver great customer experience.
7+ years technical consultancy / professional services experience covering a variety of clients, a formal solution design and development methodology, and experience of leading the technical design and implementation of a few significant projects
- 3+ years’ experience as M365/O365 solution architect role with experience in the following;
o M365 and SharePoint – Design, Configuration and Migration
o C#, PowerShell, HTML5 / CSS3
o Teams App Development
o Data verse
o JavaScript
o Power Platform
o Power BI reports from cloud/on-premises data
o Canvas and model-driven apps in PowerApps
o ASP.NET MVC Core 3.1, 5.0
o SQl Server
o Microsoft BOT Framework v4.0
o Microsoft Graph API
- Background in application development would be a benefit but not essential
- Holding a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, & Information Security or related.
- Solution Architect qualification such as TOGAF or equivalent desired
- Microsoft certifications across M365 / Azure or Power Platform are desired
- Excellent client relationship management skills in a consulting environment
- Experience in the alignment of business and IT, operating across organisational and technology silos to drive common approaches, delivering sustainable, agile and re-usable solutions
- Automation lead during project implementation and working with customers advising them the adoption strategies around Office 365. Develop Power Apps and workflows.
- Proven team leadership skills in a professional services/consulting environment
- Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2®, PMP, PMBOK, SAFe or Diploma Level in Project Management and team leadership or similar discipline and advantage
- Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Life Sciences
- Excellent client relationship management skills in a consulting environment
- Develop and lead a high-performing technical consulting team, fostering innovation and collaboration for optimal client solutions.
- Ownership of the P&L account for the app development practice
- Responsible for business development including appropriate sales targets including leading on bid proposals
- Develop and publish thought leadership to support client engagement and business development
- Take end to end responsibility for the mobilisation, delivery and benefits of large scale complex strategic and/or transformative programmes for clients
- Ensure client solutions adhere to necessary industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
