Dublin, Ireland Modern Workplace Practice Lead
You will be a key member of the Consulting practice leadership team. This is a permanent role, based in the Dublin office and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Our Modern Workplace Practice (AMW) consists of a industry leading consulting team who are shaping and delivering business process and IT modernisation projects for clients, using Microsoft and other digital workplace technologies e.g. Microsoft Power Platform.

We are looking to recruit a high performing leader with a proven track record in technology consulting including business development. This leadership role is responsible for practice delivery, client satisfaction and has overall responsibility for the P&L. You will be a key member of the Consulting practice leadership team. This is a permanent role, based in the Dublin office and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

You and your team will directly manage working with our key clients on their moderinsation journey, defining and delivering strategic outcomes. You will also work with the wider business to develop business opportunities including the preparation of evaluation ready commercial proposals. You will forecast and track the availability of your consultants to deliver client engagements throughout the project life cycle. The role will also involve ownership of regular periodic reporting on commercial and delivery performance ensuring a high standard of client satisfaction at all times.

 

What will you be doing:

  • Overall Responsibility for GTM and driving performance for the practice
  • Responsible for client satisfaction on all Modern Workplace engagements acting as a trusted advisor and building strong relationships
  • Develop and lead a high-performing consulting team, fostering innovation and collaboration for optimal client solutions.
  • Ownership of the P&L account for the consulting practice
  • Responsible for business development including appropriate sales targets including leading on bid proposals
  • Develop and publish thought leadership to support client engagement and business development
  • Take end to end responsibility for the mobilisation, delivery and benefits of large scale complex strategic and/or transformative programmes for clients
  • Ensure client solutions adhere to necessary industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Liaise with the wider consulting organisation to drive opportunities
  • Liaise with delivery and CEM organisations to support ongoing service delivery and customer experience. Influence and negotiate programme outcomes, often across multiple functions. Prepare and present analysis, insights and recommendation to support governance forums and senior client stakeholders with decision making
  • Understand all consulting service offerings and actively identify opportunities to maximise value for client organisations
  • Line management of the senior Modern Workplace practice team

 

 

What experience will you have:

  • 10years+ managerial experience, building and lead performance based teams.
  • A strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a business or IT related discipline, from a recognised third level institution
  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2®, PMP, PMBOK, SAFe or Diploma Level in Project Management or similar discipline
  • Proven leadership skills in a professional services/consulting environment
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in a client facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company (ideally top tier) in management of large-scale complex IT change/transformation programmes or systems
  • Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Life Sciences
  • At least three year’s experience of Microsoft and other digital workplace technologies. Relevant certification is desirable.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills in a consulting environment
  • Experience in the alignment of business and IT, operating across organisational and technology silos to drive common approaches, delivering sustainable, agile and re-usable solutions
  • Ability to navigate the AI landscape with clients and partners, with demonstratable experience working with Clients on their AI strategy.

 

  • Proven team leadership skills in a professional services/consulting environment
  • Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Life Sciences
  • Excellent client relationship management skills in a consulting environment
  • Develop and lead a high-performing technical consulting team, fostering innovation and collaboration for optimal client solutions.
  • Ownership of the P&L account for the app development practice
  • Responsible for business development including appropriate sales targets including leading on bid proposals
  • Develop and publish thought leadership to support client engagement and business development
  • Take end to end responsibility for the mobilisation, delivery and benefits of large scale complex strategic and/or transformative programmes for clients
  • Ensure client solutions adhere to necessary industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Providing mentoring and coaching for Modern Workplace team members.
  • Collaborating with your peers in Consulting, Sales, Delivery, and teams to deliver great customer experience.
