Job Overview: 

This position is within our Commercial Team. We are looking for a Sales Manager to run a Team of 6 to 8 Account Directors and Sales Specialists and deliver on the financial and non-financial targets set by the business. You will also directly manage a small set of key accounts

This position will carry a set of KPIs and Targets including Sales Orders generated, Billed Revenue and Margin, Annual Recurring Revenue and New Customer Acquisition.  

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, Coach and Develop a team of experienced IT services and solutions sales professionals and specialists, hiring where appropriate.
  • Directly manage a small set of key accounts
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Help develop and execute the sales and Go-To-Market strategy for Auxilion in Ireland covering major accounts though to development and acquisition of new logos.
  • Work closely with all relevant parts of the organisation (Delivery, Finance, People & Culture, etc) to help ensure the company meets its overall objectives
  • Work with Marketing to develop and execute plans around Account Based Marketing, Events, Customer advocacy, etc.
  • Engage with the wider Auxilion management team to provide input into the strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Set, Measure and Deliver on Gross Margin targets ensuring achievement of all gates.
  • Assess, qualify and support opportunities to the business for bidding
  • Report on all metrics and KPIs to Commercial Director
  • Work with Strategy Team in developing new go-to-market solutions and assessing market for new offerings.
  • Be the voice of the customer to the business and a point of management escalation for customer issues.
  • Work with the Commercial Team to ensure we utilise the Pre Sales team effectively, evangelising our capability into new and existing customers and submit wining proposals against defined requirement (RFTs, RFPs, etc)
  • Ensure adherence to, and value is derived from, the Account Planning process and Executive Sponsor program.

Technical Competencies: 

  • Manage the Sales team
  • Manage a small set of key accounts
  • Achieve Gross Margin targets set across all gates
  • Ensure coverage for business units in terms of annual revenue targets.
  • Ensure Customer Relationship Management systems are kept up to date.
  • Ensure optimal pricing strategies to win bids
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date Account Plans exist for nominated accounts.
  • Complete loss reviews for key deals and develop strategies for addressing gaps.

 



 

Business Competencies:

  • At least five years’ experience in sales management servicing large customers
  • At least ten years’ experience in sales, in the ICT sector.
  • Have experience of identifying, qualifying and winning large and complex IT services contracts.
  • Experience working in a consultative sales role.
  • Very strong communication skills; written, verbal and presentation.
  • Experience of managing multiple, complex customer engagements.
  • Strong Financial Acumen
  • Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships and an ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a complex organisational environment.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility.
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
