Industry Insights March 2022

09 March 2022

Martin Patterson is Auxilion’s Digital Services Competency Lead. He offers some insights on emerging tech trends for 2022, focusing on Hybrid Cloud, Cyber Security, and Business Process Automation.

We collaborate closely with our partners, and we are beginning to see how their needs align with broader trends in tech for 2022. Their priorities include Cyber Security, Hybrid Cloud, and Business Process Automation. These are important areas for tech organisations to focus on for the year ahead. Developing a clear strategy now will help you to avoid problems in the future.

Almost every client we speak with is either on the Cloud or wants to join it. This means that the ability to design effective Hybrid Cloud architecture will pay dividends throughout 2022. A solid Cloud Foundation with a Flexible Private Cloud and a strong Cyber Security Framework are the main building blocks for success.

Cybersecurity challenges have grown alongside the hybrid workforce and the increased use of SaaS and Hybrid Cloud Services. We are seeing more and more requirement for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) throughout our client base as they work to address these security challenges. Having the right team, tools and processes in place is essential to keeping your business cyber secure.

Digital Transformation is the current buzz word around most organisations, but it has a different meaning to everyone we speak to. Outside of our consultancy service delivering digital transformation, we engage with our clients to deliver a technology-enabled automation process for business processes. We use agile methodology and tooling to automate multiple manual processes and to reduce the requirement for manual intervention by up to 50% among our client base.

These trends will continue throughout 2022 and it’s essential to ensure that your business is ready to meet them.
