At the beginning of 2025 we worked with research company Censuswide to conduct a survey of over 200 senior managers working in financial services in Ireland. In partnership with HPE, we commissioned this survey to develop current insights into one of the most dynamic, disruptive and influential sectors. It is a powerhouse for growth, underpinning and enabling all sectors of the Irish economy. Financial services institutions are in the eye of the storm in terms of market changes, evolving customer expectations, and transformation. They also tend to be among the most progressive when it comes to leveraging technology, people and processes to embrace this change and capitalise on the opportunities it presents.
The purpose of this survey was to understand and gather comprehensive insight into the current experiences, challenges, and strategies impacting this sector as it relates to IT strategy, AI, cybersecurity, sustainability, workforce and talent, compliance, regulation, and much more. This report includes our key findings and commentary from Auxilion subject matter experts from across our organisation.
