Applegreen required a total digital transformation and a cloud-based solution to facilitate the transition from legacy IT systems across their 400+ global sites.

They also required a new Store Management Suite which incorporated an electronic point of sale solution. This was essential to facilitate the success of a rapid expansion without any disruption to front or back-end processing and reporting.

Auxilion carried out a comprehensive review of Applegreen’s IT infrastructure and their requirements. They collaborated closely with their software vendor, designing a solution to meet the client’s needs and take full advantage of the Azure platform. The scalability and ease of use of Azure made it an ideal platform for the project. Thorough stress-testing confirmed that Azure would provide the level of scalability, security, and efficiency required by Applegreen.
Auxilion collaborated closely with Applegreen to design and implement a fully comprehensive, scalable, cost-effective solution. “The cloud platform provides us with far greater reliability, resilience, stability, management and visibility than the previous approach,” reported the Group Head of IT.
The partnership has gone from strength to strength since the completion of this project. As Applegreen has continued its successful expansion, Auxilion has managed its overall IT estate and has consistently provided managed services. In 2021, Auxilion installed a new security infrastructure for Applegreen’s entire IT estate.
